The HypermobiliPT Story

How many doctors or therapists or experts have you been to in your life? How many of them thought they had the answer but didn't? How many told you there was nothing wrong or nothing you could do? How long did it take you to get a hypermobility or EDS diagnosis? It probably felt like a huge relief after so many years of doubt and frustration.

But just knowing the problem is only half the solution. It can be hard to know what to do or where to go next. Often, doctors, friends, and even family don't understand the problems it causes. That's why many people with hypermobility problems feel left behind, frustrated, and lonely.

We saw it all too frequently with the patients in our clinic, who had few outlets even to talk about the problem, much less get real help. The online communities they visited offered sympathy but little support. So we decided to start HypermobiliPT, a place where anyone suffering from or wondering about hypermobility problems can join with others like them in getting tangible support from medical experts specializing in hypermobility.

So come join us. Get tips, ask questions, share stories, see what works, stay connected, make friends. Feel better.
